Arts Care, in partnership with the Public Health Agency, is thrilled to present this year’s
PRIME Exhibition
as a cornerstone of the 15th annual
‘Here & Now’ Arts, Health & Well-being Festival for Older People.
This Exhibition has provided a vital platform for mature artists over the age of 60 from across Northern Ireland. Whether they are lifelong professionals, amateur enthusiasts, or those who discovered their creative voice in later life, this exhibition ensures our artists are seen, heard, and celebrated.
The theme for 2025/26 PRIME Exhibition is Transformations.
At its heart, transformation is about change, growth, and metamorphosis, be it sudden or slow, personal or collective, subtle or radical. This year, we explore how people, places, and ideas shift over time, celebrating the “in-between” and the powerful moments of becoming. From shifts in identity and perspective to changes in artistic practice, these works ask you to step into the unknown and explore the infinite possibilities of change.
Arts Care is delighted to have received such a vast array of fantastic entries this year, and we invite you to enjoy this diverse collection of talent from across the region.
The focus of the ‘Here & Now’ festival remains steadfast: to support the mental, physical, and emotional well-being of all participants through the power of creativity.
Let us, right here and now, appreciate these wonderful works. We offer a huge congratulations to all the artists selected for this prestigious exhibition and thank you for your continued support of Arts Care and our brilliant PRIME artists.
