Role Purpose

The Arts and Events Assistant will support Arts Care’s professional artists in delivering high-quality creative experiences across visual art, music, and dance. This volunteer role is ideal for an art student or graduate seeking hands-on experience in community arts and creative health.

Key Responsibilities

Assist professional artists during workshops in hospitals, residential care, day centres, and community venues.
Support the delivery of Ignite Community Youth Programme, engaging marginalised young people through creative activities.
Help with Crankie Theatre performances in residential and day care facilities.
Contribute to the organisation and running of community events and performances.
Provide practical support with materials, set-up, and participant engagement.
Act as an ambassador for Arts Care, promoting creativity and inclusion.

Ideal Candidate

Passionate about the arts and community engagement.
