Title of Work: Zooming Along Life's Road Trip
Facilitating Artist:
Elaine Agnew

Reflecting on the past and present experiences of blind/partially-sighted adults, this project enabled us to explore the many journeys experienced by adults who live with sight loss and how that has impacted them and their families throughout their personal life journey. From conversations on music experienced throughout your lifetime, from the first Happy Birthday sung to you as a one-year old to the choice of music at your final passing, we explored and sang the music of our teenage years, the changing sounds of our youth and adult life - those momentous occasions like marriages, milestone birthdays and most importantly, songs about love. And thinking ahead to our final years, we created a "To Do" list ranging from travels abroad and skill-building to absolutely nothing - one member already fully content with his lot.
