Title of Work: Those Were the Days

This was a co-production project with a group of residents from the fold. We worked together using themes such as food, Christmas, games, etc to reminisce about their early lives. We were able to borrow some objects from the Broughshane Museum to stimulate memories. The residents came up with the name “Those Were The Days” for the project. There were some great wee stories told and a lot of laughter and they really enjoyed getting together for this social event after being isolated for so long during the COVID lockdown. Charlie from the museum very kindly edited the stories for the showcase but he also produced a full length version of their stories and they all received a CD. The most wonderful thing is that their stories are now in the museum!
