With in my Arts Care work, the patients & service
users needs are always paramount. This essential aim can only be fully
realised by close co-operation with staff. This staff liaison is vital,
as is my working relationship with the Causeway ArtsCare group committee.
The aim of fully involving the patients and services uses always increases
diversity and originality in the art, since the participants and viewers
are always so different and their needs so distinct. The art is often
multifaceted because of the diversity of people involved. Therefore
the art may have a layering of objectives, which will directly influence
the making and the aesthetics of the art piece.
