The Northern Ireland ClownDoctors are now the feature of a documentary on BBC 1 Northern Ireland.
"The Clown Doctors", which has been made for the BBC by Tyrone Productions, follows their work. We see how laughter makes a hospital stay easier, we meet families and we hear some moving stories of children the ClownDoctors have met along the way. We also follow a new batch of six ClownDoctors as they are trained, make their first visits to hospitals, and learn about the transformative power of the red nose!
The documentary is being screened as follows:
