The ClownDoctors on BBC Children in Need
This film was made by BBC Northern Ireland, and directed by David Rowney, as one of the appeal films for the annual BBC Children in Need event for November 2008. It was filmed in the children’s wards at Altnagelvin Area Hospital, Derry/Londonderry. Since this film was made, some of the children featured in it have since died. The ClownDoctors remember them with great affection.
The film is introduced by Colin Morgan, Northern Ireland star of BBC television’s series Merlin.
