Clare McComish

Clare Mc Comish is the newly appointed Artist in Residence for Northern Ireland Hospice Care.

This is a new post and a fresh challenge for me as an artist. I received a BA Hons in Fine and Applied Art (Ceramics) at the University of Ulster where I graduated in 2000. Since then I have completed private commissions and public art works. I have worked as an art technician as well as being involved in Film and Television Art and Costume Departments.

I joined Artscare/NI Hospice Care at the end of November 2006. From that time I have been introduced to a fantastic team of people. My aim is to integrate into the Hospice system as much as possible so that my work can touch on all aspects and all users of this invaluable service. Areas include Day Hospice, Inpatient Unit, Children’s Hospice along with staff and loved ones.
