| I started working as Arts Care Musician-in-Residence for
the South and East Belfast Health and Social Services Trust in 1996
after 2 years of undertaking a considerable amount of Arts Care work on a freelance
basis all over Northern Ireland. I began another one day per week residency
with North and West Belfast Health and Social Services Trust in June
2000. As Resident Musician my work is varied, ranging from basic music sessions offered on hospital wards to sophisticated productions such as CDs presenting pieces written and recorded with clients from Trust facilities. I also work to set up events such as a Jazz in the Park event at Knockbracken Healthcare Park in Summer 2004 and yearly Christmas and Saint Patrick's Day concerts. |
