Who are we?

Arts Care is a leading regional arts, health and well-being organisation and registered charity based in Northern Ireland, founded in 1991. We deliver a wide range of innovative and impactful participatory arts projects and arts events into the heart of health, social and community care services.
Aim - to enhance the quality of the service users, staff and community’s experience of Healthcare
Objective - to provide quality arts engagement that supports health and well-being

What do we do

Arts Care provides opportunities for service users, healthcare staff and visitors to participate in a variety of art workshops, performances and events accessing high quality arts engagement in health and community care settings including transforming clinical environments into ‘creative cared for’ spaces.

How do we do it?

Arts Care engage a highly skilled workforce of professional artists from different art disciplines and clown doctors.
These teams of arts professionals deliver arts projects, performances and art exhibitions into multiple health, social care and community settings across Northern Ireland.

• Mission -  ‘improving personal health and wellbeing through the Arts’. 

We aim to enable people in health and social care, community, corporate and other settings to benefit from the recuperative, healing, and positive mental health effects of engagement with the creative arts.

Our Vision -  is that everyone throughout Northern Ireland has an opportunity to experience the positive health and wellbeing effects of engagement with creative arts.
